Tagged by HUI

Each player of the game starts off with ten weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write it in a blog of their own ten weird things or habits or little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you must choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. No tag backs.

1) I have 2 sets of 2 pairs of similar shoes.

2) I live in a 10-room single level HDB flat.

3) I jot down "remember to"s in my organizer, but i always forget to bring my organizer out.

4) I can write will sleeping.

5) If I scream or laugh in the middle of the night, I'm just dreaming.

6) I'm prone to say "wah lao, this is so expensive. I can make this myself." when I go shopping, but I havent made any.

7) I have an obsession with hugging my bolster to sleep. If you snatch it away from me, I'll make you my new one.

8) I love to imitate my mum, so much so i dont have to imitate no more. I'm an enlarged photocopy.

9) I hang my handphone round my neck, but i still miss calls, and forget to reply smses.

10)I'm so lazy sometimes, I dont want to get up to eat when I'm hungry.

I'm getting on a roll.. feel like saying more.
But then again. I TAG ellen, rene, jasmine, danny.. erm.. i cant think of anyone else. and jo when she starts her blog..
and... erm...
I TAG YOU!
haha.. yep.

Tagged.

THE SUNSCREEN

now i can post without worrying that the announcements will be pushed down and hard to see. :)
but you'd have to scroll down to see if i updated my blog.

Okay.. i promise to start posting frequently k? at least once a month.
I'm suppose to be doing work now, but i'm doing up my blog.. haha.

Am going to shoot a short coming tuesday and next weekend, just a short documentary style video about singapore. The cute happy side of it. The heartlander point of view. The casting is my family! Haha.. aint that cute? (It's like a home video. but hope the image will is good.)

Today's AGM, the official handing over and no more student club. I feel so light! no more meetings! freeing up time for films and friends and family. I know ying will be a good president and the club will become stronger. :)

And another happy thing.
WONGFUSTORE stuff has reached my home! YAY!! I can watch it on monday!
ALL wongfu fans! tell me when you want to watch it. monday? tuesday? we'll have popcorns and mini-steamboat screening!! I can't believe I'm so excited but I am! Oh my.. I think i'm starting to sound like a bimbo with all the exclamation marks.

Anyway, saw this (below) on suhui's blog, and i really love it. A song (or you can say advice)from my secondary school years that i will never forget.

THE SUNSCREEN

Ladies and Gentlemen of the class of ’97 -

Wear sunscreen.

If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience…I will dispense this advice now.

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded. But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked….You’re not as fat as you imagine.

Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing everyday that scares you

Sing

Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with people who are reckless with yours.

Floss

Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with yourself.

Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you succeed in doing this, tell me how.

Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements.

Stretch

Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your life…the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don’t.

Get plenty of calcium.

Be kind to your knees, you’ll miss them when they’re gone.

Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll have children, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary…what ever you do, don’t congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either – your choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s. Enjoy your body,
use it every way you can…don’t be afraid of it, or what other people think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever own..

Dance…even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.

Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them.

Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.

(Brother and sister together we'll make it through. Someday your spirit will take you and guide you there I know you've been hurting, and I know I've been waiting to be there for you. And I'll be there, just tell me now, whenever I can. Everybody's free.)

Get to know your parents, you never know when they’ll be gone for good.

Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.

Understand that friends come and go,but for the precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young.

Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard; live in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.

Travel.

Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders.

Respect your elders.

Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one might run out.

Don’t mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will look 85.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.

But trust me on the sunscreen…

even i cant believe it but i have to tell you that right now, i really understand what they mean by you'll never be tired when you're doing what you're passionate about. I'm about to start writing a script at this unearthly time of the day after i finished my late work.. (sorry ellen) at the same time try to pen down another one of my stupid concepts for my new tech module.. too many things are swirling in my brain.. but i'm not irritated.. i'm actually happy.

and the english standard for this post is totally horrid. if that craft of writing prof was here, she would have murdered me with a C.

time to get back to my obsessions.
i'm learning to stick to stuff. give me your support! and all the glue you have k?

oh and TAG "simply (yourname)" after you see this post k? or do it in the comments if cbox fails to connect :). just wanna know who still visits my blog, or got note of the new address. THANKS!

sunday night - monday morning

Doing work in my room alone. Getting distracted by things every few seconds. Although its getting busier by the minute, I'm glad at least I'm enjoying it. I don't know what I'm saying.
